Hemiola Crafts presents a unique range of greetings cards, stationery gifts and accessories. Many, but not all, have a musical theme. They are created using a variety of papercraft techniques, including rubber stamping, quilling and calligraphy. They are made by musician and retired teacher, Gillian Grason and have been delighting recipients all over the world for several years.

Over the last few months I have become interested in "Altered Arts".
What are "Altered Arts" ?
This is a broad term which, in simple terms, means giving a new artistic life to an old or mundane item, through the application of different creative techniques. The result is the metamorphosis into either a beautiful object for beauty's sake, or a completely different object. Currently, I work with CDs, which I transform into clocks and coasters, and dominoes, which are turned into brooches and mini journals.
