and amateur musicians. |

MUSIC TRANSPOSITION |
|
Music transposition will be of particular interest to
singers. Using Neuratron Photoscore Professional software, the music is scanned into the computer, read
and
any corrections made. The music is transferred into Sibelius where setting out
and further proofreading will take place before transposition into the
desired key and final proofreading and tweaking of the layout.
The Photoscore Professional software
produces scans with a high degree of accuracy. However, successful scanning does depend on the quality of the original copy. Ideally, the
music itself should be no larger than A4 and very clear, preferably without pen or pencil markings If the original
is not clear, the scanning will be inaccurate and the software will be unable to
read it successfully. This means the process of proofreading
and transfer into Sibelius will take considerably longer and therefore cost
more!

COPYING |
|

This service can be offered to clients who wish a professionally printed score
to be created from a handwritten copy. I shall be happy to accept commissions
for copying of small scores involving systems of no more than 8 staves. |

Only commissions for classical or light music scores
accepted. No pop!
