All work will be charged at an hourly rate of £8.00

MUSIC TRANSPOSITION

Examples

A voice and keyboard score of 3 pages, with straight forward chordal accompaniment and working from a very clear copy,

will take about 1 hour 45 minutes.

A voice and keyboard score of 2 pages, with a complicated accompaniment, several verses and working from a marked copy, may take as long as 3 hours to complete.

Examples of what I mean by complicated:

a large proportion of tuplets of one kind or another

written out ornaments

arpeggios that cross between staves

complicated rhythms

MUSIC COPYING

Examples

A 4 page da capo aria, with florid vocal line and fairly straight forward accompaniment but with copious markings and instructions will take about 2 and a half hours.
 

ADDITIONAL COSTS

The printing of one copy is included in the hourly rate.

You will be asked whether you want printing on single sided sheets, or back to back.
